| “REAL TIME SPINNERS” is a band from Luxembourg that was formed in February 2007. We define our musical style as “psycho rock”, some kind of musical mutation between the “Red Hot Chili Peppers” and “The Doors”. We are combining elements of the good old retro time with modern musical elements, by using the classic instrumentation of a rock band, which consists in guitar, bass, drums and vocals. By adding the voices of acoustic guitars, didgeridoo and several percussion instruments, such as Bongos, Congas, Tambourine, to the basic sound of the band, we have been able to create a very unique, although quite recognizable sound of our own. The variety of colors in the sound of our lead singer’s voice adds the final touch of individuality to the whole sound of the “REAL TIME SPINNERS”. Philosophy behind the name REAL TIME SPINNERS: “REAL TIME SPINNERS” means that our aim is to create music in the here and now, by projecting ourselves on a spinning rail that takes us in a time, when music was written with all kinds of purposes, not just political or emotional ones. The experimental part in the creative process in making music is as predominant, as the feelings and senses the music is made of. “REAL TIME SPINNERS” is a sort of homage to that fascinating retro-time, when everything was possible and music had that type of brake-out character, filled with pure emotion. In our musical creativity everything is possible as well and every musical influences and sounds can find their place on the “spinning wheel”, as weird as they may seem. The result of all that, is a colorful mix between wide, shimmering, effect loaded soundscapes, reggae, even punk elements and pure devastating rock sounds. The limit of our creativity is our very imagination, and we try hard to push the limits a little further every day, by letting us spin through time and space and exploring new ways of instrumentation to express ourselves naturally through our music. The musical style of “REAL TIME SPINNERS” is barely unclassifiable and there is no box we really would fit in. It’s not Punk, it’s not Rock’n Roll, and it’s not Reggae… it’s Psycho!
